
From Exposition, select Set up tables > Prospect list, click Load List, and click Update Lists
Assign To
(optional) Select a salesperson to assign to the selected prospect list. The salesperson is also referred to as the login because iMIS recognizes the salesperson by their login name.
List Name
Select or enter a name that is representative of the prospect list.
By Member Type
Enable to create a prospect list by Member Type.
Member Types - Enter the customer type used to create the list (select the Find icon to select from available customer types). To enter more than one customer type, place a comma (no spaces) between codes (for example, M,NM,CM).
Import AdHoc Result
Enable to create a prospect list using an AdHoc search (opens the Select import file window). Once the search selects the records that meet your criteria, you can import that file as a prospect list.
By Activity/Expositions/ Demographics
Enable to define specific search instructions for creating a new list (opens the Select Search Instructions window).
Prospects from a previous Expo
Enable to select prospects from a previous exposition (opens the Previous Expo window):

■ Exhibition - Select from the list.
■ Include - Select a status filter:
■ Prospect - Lists prospective exhibitors. Prospects are individuals who have exhibited at a previous exposition.
■ Signed Up - Displays exhibitors who have already signed up for the selected exposition.
■ Cancelled - Displays exhibitors who have canceled their order.
■ Declined - Displays prospects who have declined to exhibit in the selected exposition.
To load a prospect list
1. From Exposition, select Set up
tables > Prospect list to open the
Set up
prospect list window.
2. Select the Pre-Load Filters:
□ Select an Exposition.
□ (optional) Select a List Title.
□ (optional) Select a Salesperson.
3. Click Load List to display the list of prospects, and select one or more Post-Load Filters for the prospect list.
To update a prospect list
Before you can create a prospect list, you first must define an exposition for the list.
1. Load a prospect list. See To load a prospect list.
2. Click Update Lists to open the Update Prospect Lists window.
3. (optional) Select a salesperson from the Assign To field.
4. (optional) Enter or select a List Name.
5. Enable an option for updating your prospect list:
□ By Member Type
□ Import AdHoc Result
□ By Activity/Exposition/Demographics
□ Prospects from a previous Expo
6. Click OK.
To load a prospect list from a previous Expo
1. Update a prospect list. See To update a prospect list.
2. Enable Prospects from a previous Expo to open the Previous Expo window.
3. Make a selection from the Exhibition list, and enable the status filters you want to Include.
4. Click OK to generate the results of the search.
5. Click Yes to view the results of the search on the Search Results window.
6. Click OK on the Search Results window.
7. Click Yes to add the results of the search to the prospect list.
To delete a prospect list
The Exposition Management module allows you to delete a prospect list. For example, you may have created a short-term list assigned to a particular salesperson that is no longer with your organization, and now you want to delete the records assigned to that individual.
1. From Exposition, select Set up
tables > Prospect list to open the
Set up
prospect list window.
2. Select an Exposition.
3. Select the List Title for the prospects you want to delete.
4. Click Load List to display the prospects.
5. Click Delete List. A warning message displays.
6. Click Yes to delete the list of prospects.
To delete an individual prospect from a list
1. Load a prospect list. See To load a prospect list.
2. Select a prospect from the Prospect List.
3. Click Delete. A message prompt displays.
4. Click Yes to delete the prospect from the list.
To assign prospects to salespeople
Assigning prospects to salespeople is a key feature of the Exposition Management module. Organizations with several salespeople can track and manage their sales activities by assigning prospects and prospect lists to each salesperson.
1. Load a prospect list. See To load a prospect list.
2. Select one or more prospects from the Prospect List (enables the Assign Prospects button).
3. Click Assign Prospects to open the List Assignment Options window.
4. Select from the list of Salespersons (press Shift to assign the prospects to multiple salespeople).
5. Select or enter a List you are assigning to the salesperson(s).
6. Click OK to assign the list. (If assigning prospects to multiple salespeople, a message prompt displays.)
7. (Multiple salespeople only) Click Yes to randomly assign prospects to multiple salespeople.
